Naming models after European regions was a marketing concept by Güldner that visually and nominally distinguished them from the technically related A series. For used examples, check the exact type designation, as individual variants such as the A 3 K and A 3 KA differ in detail.
Güldner offered a choice of air or water cooling in parts of the Europa range; the air-cooled version was simpler and less sensitive to cold, the water-cooled one quieter and better suited to sustained load. With output from 11 kW, the range sat at the boundary between the three-point category 0 intended for very small tractors and category I under ISO 730. The PTO in this power class usually ran single-speed at 540 rpm. Parts for the now-discontinued Güldner tractor brand are today found mainly through specialist vintage-machinery dealers and collector fairs.
