Groenewegen DRO

The register lists here 18 versions with unladen weights from 6,260 to 10,340 kg and gross weights from 19,000 to 44,000 kg, at lengths from 10,870 to 13,880 mm and widths from 2,500 to 2,600 mm.

The DRO range thus sits in class O4 of heavy semi-trailers and serves the haulage of bulk material such as sand, gravel and soil behind tractor units in construction and recycling transport. The tipping body is designed for fast unloading at building sites and transfer yards and usually works in rotation with other semi-trailers of the same fleet. The vehicles often run in shuttle service between gravel pit or building site and transfer yard, with a correspondingly high number of tipping cycles.

On a used example, the tightness and wear of the tipping body, the function of the tipping hydraulics, rust on the chassis, the condition of axles and the braking system, and kingpin and landing legs count; on intensively used construction-site vehicles also the soundness of the side panels and their fastenings. Spare parts run through the Groenewegen dealer network and the open trade.
