This page gathers the Framo models outside the named ranges, from the V 501 through the V 90 112ZHP to the V 901 and its V 901/2 variant. Framo, originally founded as a metalworks in Hainichen in Saxony, built light delivery vans with a two-stroke three-cylinder engine from the 1930s and, after 1945, became part of East Germany's state-owned IFA combine; in 1961 production passed to the new plant in Karl-Marx-Stadt under the Barkas brand, which carried on the chassis and engine line.

The register lists here 4 versions with three cylinders throughout, unladen weights from 980 to 1,050 kg, gross weights from 1,190 to 1,900 kg and widths from 1,610 to 1,750 mm.
Framo vans shaped works transport, ambulance services and retail delivery in East Germany during the 1950s as one of the few light commercial vehicles available in the country; their successor, the Barkas B1000, inherited the design and stayed in production until 1991, so Framo engineering carried on in everyday East German use for decades.
On these rare post-war vehicles, the condition of the two-stroke engine and its piston rings, rust on the sheet-metal body and chassis, and the operation of the mechanical brakes and wheel suspension all count; spare parts today come almost exclusively through classic-vehicle specialists and the IFA restorer community.
