This page gathers eight Fiat-Allis construction machines that the register could not assign to a named range: the backhoe loaders FB-80 and FB7B, the crawler dozers FD110 and FD30B, the wheel loaders FL175 and FL20, and the skid-steer loaders SL40B and SL55B. Fiat-Allis was formed in 1974 as a joint venture between Fiat and the American maker Allis-Chalmers, combining their construction equipment programmes until the 1990s, when the business passed to Fiat-Hitachi and later to New Holland's construction equipment division; accordingly both Fiat and New Holland engines are recorded for the models covered here.

The register lists here 8 versions with 27 to 250 kW, or 36 to 340 hp; all eight run on diesel.

With a line-up spanning backhoe loaders, crawler dozers, wheel loaders and skid-steer loaders, Fiat-Allis covered nearly the whole spectrum of earthmoving and civil engineering machinery through the 1970s to 1990s, competing in Europe and North America with makers such as Caterpillar, Case and JCB.

When buying used, what counts on these older Fiat-Allis machines is frame cracking and corrosion on load-bearing parts, the condition of hydraulic cylinders and hoses, and wear on the undercarriage or tyres; on the dozers, track rollers, track links and drive sprockets are added to the list. Because of the company's shifting history, spare parts are sometimes only available through specialist used-machinery dealers.
