Trailers of this class are towed on an ordinary car licence and serve as car, kart and material transporters for hobby and trade use; the names drawn from racing circuits clearly target customers from motorsport. The 750 kg gross-weight mark is the threshold above which most European countries require the trailer to carry its own overrun brake.

On used examples, the condition of the load floor and sideboards, axle and wheel bearings, lighting and number-plate holder count, and on braked versions the overrun brake; wear parts such as tyres and bearings are mass-produced and easy to source. A valid type approval and a matching chassis number on the registration document are worth checking before purchase, especially on privately imported examples.
