The D-06 series covered an unusually wide spectrum for Deutz between 1968 and 1981 – from compact two-cylinder models up to the D 16006 with an eight-cylinder engine. According to the register, output ranges from 22 to 118 kW, with models rated in horsepower spanning 30 to 160 hp, at a displacement of 1,884 to 11,290 cm³.
