This page gathers the Decal trailers the register could not assign to a range of their own – from the A 3500 TA through the BT-1-1300 to the version simply listed as DECAL. The figure 3500 in the type designation A 3500 TA points to a gross weight around 3.5 tonnes, as the upper end of the range also shows. The smaller versions usually run a 50 mm ball coupling and a leaf-spring axle, the larger ones a drawbar eye with pin coupling; some of these trailers use a rubber-sprung axle instead of the leaf spring, which needs less maintenance but usually has to be replaced whole if it fails.

The register lists here 3 versions with unladen weights from 300 to 1,570 kg, gross weights from 1,300 to 4,334 kg, a length of 7,550 mm and widths from 1,900 to 2,580 mm.

With gross weights from 1.3 to just over 4.3 tonnes, Decal spans the range from the light car trailer to the small tandem-axle trailer for trade and agriculture. Trailers of this size are towed above all by trade businesses, landscaping and horticultural firms and private users behind vans and heavy cars.

On a used example, rust on the chassis and drawbar, the condition of the overrun brake and linings, axle bearings and suspension, the drawbar eye and the electrics with its plug all count. On the larger versions, also check the sides, ramps and the load-bed capacity; spare parts for axles and brakes come from the usual trailer suppliers. Towing a combination up to 3.5 tonnes usually needs only a category B licence, while the heavier versions on this page above that limit need category BE.
