Frame sizes run from 80 to 280 under IEC, all motors carry protection rating IP55 with a uniform mounting code B3/B5/B35/V1. Manufacturing is mainly in Malaysia, with a smaller share from Taiwan, tested to AS/NZS 1359.5:2004 with test method B.

With the output value spelt out directly in the model name, the programme makes for quick selection of a replacement; the wide power range from under a kilowatt to 110 kW covers applications from small auxiliary drives to pumps and compressors in the mid-range industrial segment.

When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating marks on the terminal box and fan cover, the condition of shaft and key, and a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and voltage; since none of the motors carries a High Efficiency classification, an efficiency comparison with newer IE2/IE3 models is worthwhile when replacing.
