In this power segment Branson competes with other Korean brands such as Kioti and LS Tractor, and with the compact ranges from Kubota, Massey Ferguson and New Holland; the Korean makers' traditional advantage lies in a lower price for comparable basic equipment with a front loader and hydrostatic or mechanical transmission.
Buying one of these compact tractors used, the condition and tightness of the hydraulics for the front loader and lift, the condition of the clutch and gearbox, and rust on the cab and bonnet matter; the PTO clutch and tyres are also worth checking. Spare parts run through the Branson distribution organisations in each country, which have by now built a wide dealer network for this relatively young brand.
