Ursus C-355 to C-4011 (Poland) – Zetor-licensed tractors built in Ursus, Warsaw: C-355, C-360, C-362, three- and four-cylinder diesels rated 33–42 kW, 2,000–2,170 kg
The C-355 to C-4011 line brings together the standard tractors built by Ursus in Warsaw under the Polish-Czechoslovak cooperation agreement as licensed Zetor designs. Ursus, a Polish tractor maker operating since the 1920s in the Warsaw district of the same name, took the mid-range Zetor concept for the C-355 and C-360 and adapted it for its own production; the C-362 and C-4011 carried the line forward with detail changes, while the C-355M and C-360-3P denote further developed versions. The family is powered by three- and four-cylinder diesel engines, with one version's engine recorded as the S-4002; drive is two-wheel throughout.

The register lists 6 versions rated at 33 to 42 kW (45 to 56 hp) from three- and four-cylinder engines of 2,502 to 3,121 cm³, torque of 165 to 190 Nm at 2,200 to 2,250 rpm, kerb weights of 2,000 to 2,170 kg, and a length of 3,250 to 3,610 mm, a width of 1,800 mm and a height of 2,050 mm.
The C-series was the bread-and-butter tractor of Polish agriculture and of farms across the Eastern Bloc; through state foreign trade, Ursus tractors of this class also reached Western Europe, where they were sold as a low-cost alternative to Western makes. The close kinship with Zetor technology secured a broad parts base across both manufacturers.
On a used example, check the condition of the engine and injection pump, clutch and gearbox, the hydraulics including the lift, and corrosion on the wings, cab and frame; the simple mechanicals make repairs easier, and spares run through the Zetor-compatible dealer network across Central and Eastern Europe. A test drive checking steering, brakes and the PTO clutch is worthwhile before buying.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Check front and rear tyre sizes: mismatched pairs strain the drivetrain.
- Shift the gearbox cold and warm — jumps only show up at temperature.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
