More machines from model year 1970
Kramer 14 series: the last tractor generation before 1973 – two- to six-cylinder diesels with 31 to 85 kW (30 to 115 hp), 2,826 to 5,655 cm³ displacement, air-cooled
The 14 series was Kramer's final tractor development before the company fully stopped tractor building in 1973 in favour of construction machinery. It bundles the most powerful tractors Kramer ever built.

The register lists 6 live models, from the 314 to the 1214, built between 1970 and 1973. Output ranges from 31 to 85 kW, or 30 to 115 hp, weight from 1,850 to 6,000 kg, displacement from 2,826 to 5,655 cm3, across two- to six-cylinder engines.
Reaching up to 115 hp with six-cylinder engines, Kramer entered a power class it had never previously offered, just before exiting tractor production — a late but clear step upward.
Because of the short three-year production run, 14-series models rank among the rarer Kramer tractors held by collectors and museums today.
The 14 series' air-cooled engines needed no radiator, water pump or antifreeze; this simplified maintenance and winter operation but required a clean fan shroud. With outputs up to 85 kW, the three-point hitch ranged from category I on the smaller types to category II under ISO 730 on the most powerful six-cylinder models. Parts for this late Kramer generation are scarce today and mainly circulate among specialist collectors and vintage-machinery dealers. Anyone searching the collector market should therefore expect a longer wait for spare parts.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Check front and rear tyre sizes: mismatched pairs strain the drivetrain.
- Shift the gearbox cold and warm — jumps only show up at temperature.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
