The Master series formed the flagship of Hürlimann's line-up, the Swiss tractor maker founded in 1929 in Wil, canton St. Gallen, which has belonged to Italy's SAME group since 1979. Within the SAME Deutz-Fahr group, Hürlimann formed the third independent tractor brand alongside Same and Deutz-Fahr, with its own plant in Wil. The H-6165 and H-6190 MASTER are large six-cylinder tractors whose type designation names the engine family and power class.
