Grove was originally an independent US crane manufacturer from Shady Grove, Pennsylvania, and now belongs to the Manitowoc group, under whose roof the scissor lift range on this page also runs. The S range (S1932E to S4088) covers electric and rough-terrain scissor lifts for indoor and outdoor working heights, while the SM range (SM2646E to SM3269XT) adds narrower versions for use in tighter aisles; the number in the type gives roughly the working height in feet. The rough-terrain models are powered by dual-fuel engines of the WG750 and DF750 type, running on petrol or LPG.
