The WOLFPACK 210 from MyDefence (Denmark) is a networkable passive 360-degree RF detector node for stationary operation. It receives the radio links of drones all round and reports them to the network. The manufacturer names critical infrastructure, airports and military use as fields of use.
The detection range is up to 10 km, and the node weighs 5 kg and draws 40 W. The value is a manufacturer claim under favourable conditions and depends on the drone’s transmit power, the terrain and the radio environment. Networkable means that several nodes can combine their reports into a common picture. Single sensors show presence or direction, while networked sensors in principle also allow a position to be determined, for example of the pilot.
The node is passive and does not interfere with the drone’s radio link. Whether and how receiving and evaluating third-party radio signals is permitted (secrecy of telecommunications, data protection) has to be clarified for Germany and Poland before use. A network that determines the locations of signal sources additionally touches data protection. Jammers may be operated only by authorities in Germany and Poland (Section 91 TKG, Article 42 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law).
In selection it counts how many nodes the area needs: the 10 km is a maximum, with terrain and buildings plan on less, and a position takes several nodes with overlapping coverage. At 40 W of continuous power, power supply, network and, where needed, buffering against outages belong in the plan. Mast, connectors and seals need regular checks and the signature library upkeep. Drones that do not transmit stay invisible to the node; that takes radar or cameras.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
