The iFlight BLITZ Wing H743 (China) is an H743 flight controller for fixed-wing aircraft that runs INAV (target IFLIGHT_BLITZ_H7_WING) and ArduPilot (target BlitzWingH743). It is meant for aeroplanes with servos, ailerons and a camera that fly FPV or over longer distances.

The STM32H743 supplies the computing reserve for both firmwares, and the gyro is an ICM42688P. The barometer has been an SPL06-003 since September 2025; before that an SPA06-001 was fitted. Interfaces are 8 UART and an AT7456E OSD. The input voltage is 7 to 36 V (2S to 8S); the board measures 36.9 × 52 mm and weighs 35 g. For fixed-wing aircraft the outputs for servos and the current-sensor input for consumption display count; the number of UARTs covers receiver, video transmitter, GPS, telemetry and extra devices.

When flying FPV with goggles, the EU open category requires an observer who keeps visual contact. Flights beyond visual line of sight belong in the specific category; the class of the finished drone follows from take-off mass. INAV and ArduPilot include return-to-home and geofence.

When selecting, the firmware decides on operating logic and range of functions: INAV is tailored to fixed-wing aircraft and GPS return, ArduPilot offers missions with waypoints. The barometer revision is checked when replacing the board. Vibration from the drivetrain and servos disturbs attitude estimation, so the board is mounted softly; connectors to servos and GPS are the wear points, and after modifications attitude and compass are calibrated.

What to check before buying

  • Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
  • Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
  • Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
