The Foxeer H7 MPU6000 (China) is an FPV flight controller in 30x30 format with an H743 processor, MPU6000 gyro, DPS310 barometer and dual BEC for batteries up to 8S. It is meant for small to mid-size FPV multicopters and runs Betaflight or ArduPilot.

The STM32H743 at 480 MHz offers the reserves that ArduPilot and elaborate filters need, as the framework notes for this part type state. The MPU6000 is a proven, widely used gyro with an SPI link; a barometer is available for altitude. Interfaces are 6 UART plus RX8, 9 PWM outputs (DShot 1 to 8, bidirectional) and an OSD. Bidirectional DShot returns motor speeds to the flight controller, on the basis of which filters suppress motor noise in a targeted way. Two BECs supply 10 V at 2 A and 5 V at 2 A. The input voltage is 4S to 8S LiPo; the board measures 37 × 37 mm with a hole pattern of 30.5 × 30.5 mm and weighs 7.8 g.

Legally the finished drone decides: below 250 g class C0 applies, below 900 g class C1 with Direct Remote ID. Flying with goggles needs an observer in the open category.

When selecting, the cell count counts: the range up to 8S suits powerful drivetrains but calls for capacitors against voltage spikes. The current rating of 2 A per BEC limits how much video transmitter, camera and accessories may draw. Wear sits at the USB socket and solder pads; after modifications the attitude is calibrated, before updates the configuration is saved.

What to check before buying

  • Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
  • Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
  • Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
