County Commercial Cars, later County Tractors, was based in Fleet in the English county of Hampshire and converted standard Ford tractors into rugged four-wheel-drive machines by fitting its own front axles and transfer cases. Super-Four denotes the four-wheel-drive version, Super-Six the models fitted with the six-cylinder Ford 401 engine; the Full-Track and CD50 crawler versions replaced the rear axle with tracked undercarriages for moor and marsh work.

The register lists here 33 versions with 38 to 132 kW from four- to six-cylinder engines, among the models with recorded dimensions from 3,610 to 6,578 cm³ and 3,800 to 8,030 kg unladen weight, with lift capacities of 4,200 to 6,670 kg; the engines come almost entirely from Ford, occasionally from Perkins, at rated speeds of 2,000 to 2,250 rpm.
County conversions were a sought-after solution in Britain for heavy soils and moorland before factory four-wheel-drive tractors became widely available; the Sea Horse variant was additionally built for river crossings and coastal work.
When buying used, the condition of the added front axle and transfer case, rust on the welded-on frame reinforcements, and on the crawlers the condition of the track chains all matter. Ford engine parts are readily available, while County-specific drivetrain parts are only found through specialists and donor vehicles.
