County Commercial Cars, later County Tractors, was based in Fleet in the English county of Hampshire and converted standard Ford tractors into rugged four-wheel-drive machines by fitting its own front axles and transfer cases. Super-Four denotes the four-wheel-drive version, Super-Six the models fitted with the six-cylinder Ford 401 engine; the Full-Track and CD50 crawler versions replaced the rear axle with tracked undercarriages for moor and marsh work.

Ford engine parts are readily available, while County-specific drivetrain parts are only found through specialists and donor vehicles.
