The Citroën Nemo 1,4 HDi is a van; built in 2008. The Citroën Nemo was developed together with Fiat and Peugeot, which sold twin models as Fiorino and Bipper. Displacement is 1,399 cm³, which sets how much air and fuel is burned per working cycle. The stated output is 50 kW, which governs drawbar pull, implement choice and driving performance. The gearbox has 5 forward speeds. Kerb weight is 1,212 kg and permissible gross weight 1,700 kg; the difference is the available payload.
Vans of this class are working vehicles for trades, retail and parcel services. Cargo space, permissible payload and engine output decide which goods and which routes can be served economically. Kerb weight and permissible gross weight show how much load may be carried; length and width determine manoeuvrability in city centres and parking needs. The values on this page allow comparison with other versions of the same series.
Citroën Nemo – the compact panel van: HDi diesel engines from 1.3 to 1.4 litres capacity, 50 kW, 1,016 to 1,250 kg kerb weight, 1,680 to 1,750 kg gross vehicle weight, model years from 2007
The Citroën Nemo is a compact A-segment panel van that the French manufacturer developed together with the identical Fiat Fiorino and Peugeot Bipper on the Sevel Sud platform. The model has been built since 2007 at the Tofaş plant in Bursa, Turkey, a joint venture between Fiat and the Turkish Koç Group. The model designations in the register, such as NEMO 1.4 HDI or NEMO van HDi 70, combine the model name with the fuel type and sometimes the output given in PS.

The register lists 10 versions with 1,248 to 1,399 cm³ engine capacity from four-cylinder engines, 1,016 to 1,250 kg kerb weight and 1,680 to 1,750 kg gross vehicle weight. Lengths stand at 3,864 to 3,870 mm, one measured output stands at 50 kW.
The Nemo positioned itself as the entry point into Citroën's commercial-vehicle range below the Berlingo and competed with the Opel Combo and the VW Caddy in its most compact form. It was used mainly by tradespeople, courier services and urban delivery traffic, where the compact outer dimensions give an advantage when manoeuvring and parking.
For a used example, the HDi injectors, the automated Sensodrive gearbox on the relevant versions, and the condition of the load-door hinges and seals should be checked, as these wear under intensive delivery use. Corrosion at the lower door edges and the load-floor is a known weak point; spare parts are readily available through the Citroën service network and the technically identical sister models.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
