Case IH Farmall – A, C and U: the compact utility class and what the letters mean
At Case IH, Farmall is today the family of compact and mid-size utility tractors – the name goes back to International Harvester's Farmall line, which shaped the row-crop tractor from the 1920s onward. Today's Farmalls share only the name with the historic models; they span the range from a yard-loader substitute to an all-rounder for grassland, municipal work and specialty crops.
