The engine, designated Ursus S-312C, comes from the works' own production. The gearbox offers 6 forward and 2 reverse gears. At 3,080 mm long, 1,590 mm wide, with a 1,960 mm wheelbase and 1,675 kg weight, the C-330M is a light, compact standard tractor.

The C-330 was designed for small and medium farms, where a simple, rugged tractor of modest weight sufficed for tillage and light haulage. The S-312 engine line was factory-designed for easy maintenance and used across several Ursus small tractors of this weight class.

When buying a C-330, the condition of the clutch, the tightness of the hydraulic system and corrosion on the load-bearing sheet-metal parts matter most, as these tractors often stayed in service for decades. As the C-330 was built in very large numbers, it ranks among the Ursus models with the best spare-parts supply. A test run raising and lowering the hydraulics also shows whether the pump and control valves still work reliably, and a look underneath will reveal any welding repairs to the frame rails.
