The Forterra series replaced Zetor's older UR generations in the early 2000s and has since been developed through several generations; the types listed here, 9641, 10641, 11441 and 12441, belong to the third generation, Forterra III. The tractors continue to be built at Zetor's home plant in Brno. The four-digit type numbers order the models by power class, with the first two to three digits roughly reflecting the horsepower.

When buying used, check the condition of the clutch and gearbox, tightness of the hydraulic pump and lift cylinders, the electronics of the cab equipment, and wear on the front axle and steering on the four-wheel-drive models. Parts are well available through Zetor's distribution network in Europe.
