Zetor 97 er-Serie (UR-1)

The register lists here 5 versions with 33.1 to 58.1 kW from three- and four-cylinder engines of 2,696 to 3,922 cm³ and torque from 150 to 236 Nm at a rated speed of 2,200 rpm. Unladen weights range from 3,045 to 3,295 kg, length from 3,370 to 3,686 mm, width from 1,900 to 1,925 mm and height from 2,625 to 2,640 mm.

The Super version of the UR I range supplemented the standard line-up with an improved variant that, like the base range, formed the backbone of agriculture across the former Eastern Bloc for decades and was also exported in large numbers to Western Europe. The low price and simple technology remained the central selling point in the Super version too.

Buying used Zetor Super models calls for the same checks as the base range: the clutch and gearbox, the tightness of the hydraulics and corrosion on the wings and cab. Thanks to the close relation to the base range and the large numbers built, parts remain well available through Zetor specialists.
