The register lists here 2 versions with 24.3 to 33.1 kW from three to four cylinders of 2,339 to 3,119 cm³ displacement, unladen weights of 1,480 to 1,965 kg, lengths of 3,016 to 3,250 mm, widths of 1,652 to 1,790 mm and heights of 1,525 to 1,620 mm; the engines run at 2,000 revolutions per minute, one carrying the factory designation Z-4001.
The Unified Range I tractors made Zetor one of the defining tractor makers of the Eastern Bloc and were exported across the whole Comecon area as well as to Western Europe, Africa and Asia; the modular principle with a shared cylinder unit cut production and spare-parts costs considerably.
On these classics, engine condition and compression, rust on sheet metal and mudguards, the condition of clutch and mechanical gearbox, and the function of the hydraulics count; spare parts for the Z engine series are available through the Eastern European used market and specialist Zetor parts dealers.
