The water-cooled four-cylinder diesel engine has a displacement of 1,327 cc and produces 32 hp, or 23.5 kW. At 2,550 mm long and 750 kg unladen weight, the VITRAC has a design top speed of just 10 km/h, which is typical and entirely sufficient for the slow, careful pace of work inside narrow plantations.
Narrow-track tractors of these dimensions are tailored to vineyard, orchard and specialty-crop work, where the slim build allows passage through tight rows without damaging the crop. The low overall height also lowers the centre of gravity and improves stability on the slopes that are common in vineyards and orchards alike.
