Vogelzang Trailers over 10 t (Class O4)

The register lists 395 versions with unladen weights of 2,240 to 38,330 kg and permissible gross weights of 10,600 to 54,000 kg. Lengths are recorded for 302 of the 395 models, ranging from 1,645 to 18,300 mm, and width for all 395 from 260 to 2,750 mm.

Tipping and bulk-material semi-trailers of this size are common in earth, gravel and recycling haulage, where Vogelzang competes with specialist tipper builders such as Meiller semi-trailers or Fliegl.

On used tipping semi-trailers, what counts especially is the condition of the tipping cylinder and hydraulic system, the tightness and wear of the body, the condition of the sideboards and tailgate, the axles (BPW/SAF) and EBS braking system, air suspension and frame corrosion at the heavily loaded tipping-axle points, and an unbroken inspection history.
