The Bambi delivers 10 hp and offers 300 mm of ground clearance, at a height of 1,400 mm, a length of 2,080 mm and a width of 1,500 mm. At an unladen weight of 600 kg, a wheelbase of 1,250 mm and a top speed of 14 km/h, the machine is a very light, compact small tractor, whose short wheelbase also gives it a tight turning circle.
The raised ground clearance of 300 mm, combined with 6-24 AS tyres on both front and rear axles, points to use in row crops or on uneven, stony ground, where a lower-slung chassis could be damaged. Small tractors like this handle light pulling and grounds-care work rather than heavy soil cultivation, such as towing small trailers or driving simple mowers.
On a used Bambi, the condition of the steering knuckles and linkage matters, since the raised build height puts more leverage on the chassis on older machines. The tyres should also be checked for even wear and cracking in the rubber, along with the mounting points for the implements for excessive play, especially after long years of light-duty outdoor work in variable weather.
