Titan Jelsum Trailers up to 3.5 t (Class O2)

The register lists 200 versions with unladen weights from 300 to 3,280 kg and gross weights from 1,000 to 3,500 kg. Lengths range from 3,960 to 11,940 mm, widths from 1,310 to 2,550 mm. From 750 kg unladen weight, Class O2 requires its own overrun brake; below that limit the unbraked version is sufficient.

As a Frisian manufacturer, Titan Jelsum is rooted mainly in the Dutch market for transport trailers, with a range spanning from light trailers to sturdy versions for heavy loads. The large number of letter codes recorded in the register points to a broad modular system of axles, drawbar shapes and load beds, from which customers could pick the version that suited their particular use.

When buying used, check the condition of the floor and frame for rust, the overrun brake mechanism with its linkage, axles and suspension, the electrics and lighting, and tyre age. On the heavy versions close to the weight limit, it is also worth checking welds and the load bed for deformation.
