The 6250 Terrus is powered by a six-cylinder diesel engine of 6,700 cm³ displacement, delivering 184 kW (250 hp) at 2,200 rpm. At an unladen weight of 10,500 kg, a wheelbase of 2,995 mm and a top speed of 50 km/h, the machine combines strong pulling power with brisk road transport between field and farmyard, at a ratio of roughly 57 kg of weight per kW.
Large standard tractors of this power class pull wide cultivation and seeding equipment on the three-point linkage to ISO 730 and drive heavy trailers and harvesting machinery through the 540 or 1,000 rpm power take-off. The 50 km/h top speed allows brisk road travel between more distant fields, which shortens transfer times on larger farms with scattered plots.
