SOLIFER Other models

The register lists 112 versions with unladen weights from 250 to 1,633 kilograms, gross weights from 1,000 to 2,700 kilograms and widths from 2,070 to 2,540 millimetres and lengths from 5,900 to 8,120 millimetres. The range therefore spans compact two-berth caravans through to family caravans with considerably higher payload.

Solifer was one of the established caravan brands of the Finnish and Swedish market, competing there with Adria, Kabe and Polar, before smaller Nordic manufacturers were increasingly pushed aside by the large central European groups. The vehicles are built for northern European climate conditions, with correspondingly robust insulation and heating.

When buying used, what matters most on these older caravans is damp damage to the roof and window frames, the condition of the axle and the overrun brake, and corrosion of the chassis and the corner steadies. As Solifer is no longer produced as an independent brand, parts supply depends largely on universal caravan components such as axles, brakes and window seals available through the general accessory trade.
