Solifer is a Finnish caravan manufacturer whose models appeared over several decades in numerous name spellings and series – from the plain S4 to S9 designations through the comfort series Finlandia, Nordica and Goldie to the sturdier Artic range built for Nordic winter use. When buying used, what matters most on these older caravans is damp damage to the roof and window frames, the condition of the axle and the overrun brake, and corrosion of the chassis and the corner steadies. As Solifer is no longer produced as an independent brand, parts supply depends largely on universal caravan components such as axles, brakes and window seals available through the general accessory trade.
