At gross weights of 18 to 30 tonnes and lengths of up to 17.5 metres, the heavy Schriks wagons sit well above the classic agricultural trailer segment, in the field of heavy centre-axle or low-loader trailers for machinery and heavy-goods transport. Widths of up to 2.75 metres already exceed the standard road dimension and point to transport requiring a special permit.

When buying used at these weight classes, check above all the frame and axle assemblies for fatigue cracks and corrosion, the braking system of the multiple axles, and the drawbar eye and drawbar for play. The load platform should be checked for wear from heavy goods, and tyres and brake linings matter greatly given the high axle loads, as do the load-securing anchor points on the longer versions.
