Schlüter 1900 TV-LS: six-cylinder large tractor rated at 138 kW, 7.4-litre displacement and 7,900 kg weight from the Super Tronic range
Schlüter was a German tractor manufacturer based in Freising in Bavaria, building tractors from the 1930s until it ceased production in 1993, known chiefly for its high-output large tractors. The Super Tronic range, with the 1900 TV-LS model, counted among the company's most powerful lines.

The 1900 TV-LS (TVL-LS) is powered by a water-cooled six-cylinder engine of 7,389 cc, producing 138 kW (185 hp) at 2,100 rpm with 795 Nm of torque. At a weight of 7,900 kg, a wheelbase of 2,900 mm and a width of 2,500 mm, the tractor reaches a design top speed of 32.5 km/h. Height stands at 3,090 mm and length at 5,020 mm. The engine runs on diesel.
A six-cylinder at nearly 8 tonnes and more than seven litres of displacement marks one of the heaviest field tractors of its time, the kind used for tillage with wide implements and drawbar work demanding very high pulling force on large farms. The 32.5 km/h top speed falls within the L driving licence category, the power take-off runs at the standard 540 or 1,000 rpm, and the three-point hitch follows ISO 730.
Buying a used six-cylinder this heavy and this powerful, the injection system, the cooling system and hydraulic tightness deserve particular attention. Also worth checking at inspection are the sheet metal for rust damage, the condition of the PTO bearings and tyre condition given the high kerb weight.
