Sbs Trailers Other models

The register lists here 31 versions with unladen weights from 275 to 1,300 kg and gross weights from 1,000 to 3,500 kg. Lengths range from 6,000 to 8,500 mm, widths from 2,020 to 2,530 mm.

Boat trailers of this size carry motor yachts, sailing boats with a fixed keel or larger rowing boats and usually come with a braked axle once the gross weight exceeds 750 kg. The market for specialised boat trailers is broad across Europe's coastal and lake regions, with an overrun brake, a galvanised frame and either keel rollers or bunk beams depending on hull shape.

When buying used, the condition of the galvanising and the rollers or bunk beams, the function of the overrun brake including the handbrake cable, axle alignment and the seal of the wheel bearings, which see extra wear from frequent water contact, matter most. Spares such as rollers, ball bearings and lighting are available through the general trailer trade.
