The Solaris range is a line of compact four-wheel-drive tractors built on the shared technical platform of the SDF brands SAME, Lamborghini and Hürlimann (SLH), produced from the 1990s onward. The model numbers 25, 35 and 45 rank the range by power class, and the DT suffix stands throughout for Doppia Trazione, four-wheel drive; all three versions in the register are four-wheel-drive models. In hilly terrain and on small, fragmented plots, the manoeuvrable Solaris models benefit from their tight turning radius.

Compact tractors in this power class take on tasks on smaller holdings, in orchards and vineyards, and in municipal grounds care for which larger standard tractors are too unwieldy; the Solaris range competes there with comparable compact models from Deutz-Fahr, Kubota and Iseki.
When buying used, condition of the high-revving diesel engine, the clutch and four-wheel drive under load, and the hydraulics and lift all matter; spare parts run through the SAME-Deutz-Fahr dealer network.
