The Agrocompact series occupied Deutz-Fahr's compact general-purpose segment through the 1990s and early 2000s, before the successor Agroplus series took over its role.

The register lists 11 live models, from the Agrocompact 3.30 V/F to the Agrocompakt 90 V/F, built between 1992 and 2006. Output ranges from 39.7 to 66.2 kW, or 54 to 90 hp, weight from 2,150 to 2,700 kg, displacement from 2,827 to 4,000 cm3, across three- and four-cylinder engines.

The parallel use of dot notation (3.30, 3.50) and plain horsepower numbers (60, 70, 80, 90) within the same series shows how Deutz-Fahr gradually standardised model naming during this transitional period.

With V and F variants (Vigneto/Frutteto), the Agrocompact already covered specialty-crop applications alongside classic arable work.

Notably, some Agrocompact models were already approved for pure biodiesel (B100), which makes it worth checking fuel lines and seals for biodiesel compatibility on a used example if it was run on that fuel. When buying used, clutch and gearbox condition, hydraulic tightness, and rust on cab and mudguards also matter; parts run through the SAME Deutz-Fahr group. PTO and three-point hitch correspond in this power class to ISO 730 Category I to II, at 540 rpm. Some early Agrocompact models still used air cooling, later ones exclusively water cooling; on air-cooled examples, the cooling fins and fan matter too.
