Saacke is a manufacturer of burner technology headquartered in Bremen. This page gathers three-phase motors carrying the brand that the Australian energy-efficiency register (GEMS/MEPS) does not assign to a named range. The four versions carry the designations YA90L-2, YA100L-2, YA132Sb-2 and YA160Ma-2.

The register lists here four versions with 2.2 to 11 kW rated output, all two-pole and rated for 415 V. Full-load efficiency ranges from 84.1 to 89.5%, and at 75% load from 85.3 to 89.2%. Frame sizes fall between 90 and 160, the protection class is IP55 throughout, and the mounting code is B5 throughout. Testing followed AS/NZS 1359.5:2004 with test method A.

As high-speed two-pole motors, the four versions suit drives matched to burner and combustion plant, for instance fan and pump drives on oil or gas burners; IP55 protection allows operation in boiler houses and heating plant rooms exposed to dust and moisture, without a need for a separate protective enclosure.

On a used purchase, bearing condition, a tested winding insulation resistance, visible overheating traces at the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and protection class all count. Anyone wanting variable-speed operation should check inverter compatibility. Spare parts run through the Saacke service network or general electric-motor suppliers.
