Röhr was one of the many smaller West German tractor makers of the post-war years that, alongside the big brands, supplied regional farming with simple, sturdy tractors; the brand did not survive the market consolidation of the 1960s.
On the rare Röhr tractors, what counts today is above all the preserved condition of the engine and bodywork, since parts are practically no longer found through regular trade; buyers check the compression and oil loss of the old diesel engines, the condition of hydraulics and brakes, and the completeness of attachments and data plate, as many machines were dismantled or rebuilt over the decades.
