Reform Muli

The water-cooled four-cylinder diesel engine displaces 3,340 cm³ and delivers 41.5 kW at 2,250 rpm, equivalent to 56.5 horsepower. With a weight of 2,990 kg, a wheelbase of 2,475 mm and a top speed of 40 km/h, the Muli 600 combines the pulling power of a mid-range farm tractor with the road speed needed for transport runs.

Muli vehicles are designed as all-wheel-drive carriers for steep and difficult terrain and are used mainly on mountain pasture, in forestry and in alpine transport, where classic standard tractors reach their limits. The combination of a powerful four-cylinder engine and comparatively high road speed allows both drawbar work on slopes and brisk transport runs in the valley.

When buying a used Muli 600, the all-wheel-drive components and differentials should be checked for wear, since work on steep terrain puts more strain on the drivetrain than level fieldwork. The braking system also deserves particular attention given the 40 km/h top speed, which is high for this type of vehicle, as does the condition of the tyres, which often wear unevenly in alpine use. A short test drive on a slope reveals such wear quickly.
