At a gross weight of 18 tonnes the Redos trailers sit in the heavy class above 10 tonnes, typical of multi-axle centre-axle or drawbar trailers used in long-haul and road-train combinations. The box body protects the load from the weather and suits general and groupage cargo that needs to travel dry and secure over longer distances, and the width of up to 2,600 mm allows standard pallet loading across the full body.

When buying a used trailer of this size, check above all the condition of the axles, braking system and frame, since the high payloads place heavy demands on the chassis.
