The water-cooled four-cylinder diesel engine displaces 2,970 cm³ and delivers 80 kW, equivalent to about 109 horsepower. With a top speed of 60 km/h, the MUVO reaches the limit permitted in Germany for the T driving licence category. At a weight of 2,790 kg, a wheelbase of 2,100 mm and a width of only 1,320 mm, the machine is narrow enough to work between trees and in tight street spaces.
Municipal carriers of this power class with a 60 km/h top speed are often used in winter road service, green space maintenance and commuting between several work sites, where brisk road travel speeds up the working day.
