The Titus series brings together two Primus tractors designated U-15 and U-35, whose designs differ markedly: the U-15 is a light single-cylinder machine for smaller areas, the U-35 a three-cylinder model for medium-heavy field work. The number in the type designation clearly tracks the power class, from the smaller to the larger model. Both engines run at a similar rated speed, pointing to a shared design philosophy despite the difference in cylinder count.

The register lists 2 variants at 11 to 25.7 kW from single- to three-cylinder diesels of 1,178 to 3,534 cc, kerb weights of 1,260 to 2,100 kg, lengths of 2,500 to 3,000 mm, widths of 1,500 to 1,750 mm, heights of 1,560 to 1,650 mm and a rated 1,500 to 1,600 rpm.
With this spread, the Titus series covered the transition from a small yard tractor to a fully-fledged mid-power field tractor, addressing a broad range of farms of different sizes, from part-time smallholdings to operations with regular field work.
On both models, compression and the condition of the injection pump matter, along with the clutch and gearbox and rust on wings and sheet metal; on a test drive the brakes should pull evenly without play. Given the low production numbers of this range, parts are mostly sourced through specialist vintage dealers and custom remanufacture, which tends to stretch out restoration times compared with more common makes.
