This page gathers vehicles from PPM (Potain-Poclain Manutention), a French manufacturer of mobile cranes built on purpose-designed multi-axle chassis, which is why the register lists them among the trucks. The AC designation (All Terrain Crane) marks off-road cranes on their own chassis, TC (Truck Crane) cranes on a reinforced truck chassis; the following number gives the lifting-capacity class in tonnes, and the "/2L" or "/3L" suffix the number of axles. PPM was absorbed into the US group Terex in the 1990s as the European crane industry consolidated.

As a specialist crane builder, PPM served the market for mobile lifting equipment in construction and industry, competing with Grove, Liebherr and Faun; the vehicles on this page span the range from more compact truck cranes to heavy multi-axle all-terrain cranes.
On these specialised vehicles, check the condition of the boom and hydraulic cylinders including seals, the structure of the outriggers and chassis, the engine and drivetrain condition given the high operating weight, the function of the load-moment limiter, and — because of the low production numbers — the availability of load charts and maintenance documentation.
