The register lists here 73 versions with unladen weights from 890 to 3,500 kg, gross vehicle weights from 950 to 3,500 kg, lengths from 5.90 to 9.27 m and widths from 1.40 to 2.53 m.

Trailers of this type serve to transport boats, vehicles and cargo for private and commercial use; lengths of over 9 m point to boat trailers and long box trailers that nonetheless stay within the 3.5 t limit for operation on an ordinary car licence. The used market includes both older, simply equipped models and newer versions with loading ramps and aluminium bodywork, many of them used seasonally to transport boats to and from the water.

When buying used, what counts is the condition of the frame and axle mounting for rust, especially on boat trailers given their contact with water, the condition of the overrun brake, axles, wheel bearings and tyres, and on box trailers the tightness of the walls and roof. The ball coupling and jockey wheel should also be checked.
