This version of the Blitz is powered by a six-cylinder petrol engine of 3,626 cm³ and 51 kW, with a kerb weight of 2,495 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 6,800 kg. The vehicle is 6.07 m long, 2.265 m wide and 2.115 m tall, has a wheelbase of 3.60 m and runs on six wheels, pointing to a rear axle with dual tyres. The permitted top speed is 90 km/h.

At a gross weight of just under 7 tonnes and with dual rear wheels, this Blitz belonged to the medium-weight class of commercial vehicles which, alongside the classic dropside and box bodies, also served as the base for smaller omnibus bodies in scheduled and works transport. A top speed capped at 90 km/h was typical for a commercial vehicle of this weight class and era.

For a used Blitz of this type, check for corrosion on the frame, the dual axle and the brake drums, the condition of the petrol engine's carburettor and ignition, the operation of the brakes on all six wheels, and, on an omnibus body, the structural condition of the seats, floor and roof. Parts for the widely used Opel petrol engine are comparatively easy to find in the classic-commercial-vehicle market.
