New Holland TM (1999–2007) – the six-cylinder from Basildon between TS and TG: TM115 to TM190, the number as hp class, RC for Range Command, SS for SuperSteer, 7.5 litre engine of the Genesis line, 85 to 168 kW
The TM range was New Holland's upper mid-range tractor in the first blue years: introduced in 1999 as successor to the 8x60 range, built in Basildon, England, and replaced by the T7000 range in 2007. The type logic: TM marks the range, the number the hp class – TM115 about 115 hp, TM150 150 hp, TM190 190 hp – RC stands for the Range Command semi-powershift, SS for the SuperSteer front axle with increased steering angle, 4WD for four-wheel drive. In 2002 the range was revised and re-graded from TM120 to TM190, with power boost for PTO and transport work, which explains the register span up to 168 kW. The engine in all versions is the six-cylinder of 7.5 litres from the Genesis line Ford New Holland had developed in the 1990s for the 70 series – the register values of 7,478 to 7,500 cm³ show the one engine family.

In Western Europe the TM was the tractor of contractors and large arable farms – six-cylinder smoothness, powershift and a cab regarded as one of the quietest of its time; the TM range sold in large numbers in Britain, France and Germany.
