New Holland TL – compact tractors from Jesi: type logic by horsepower, four-cylinder diesels, 48 to 74 kW between the TL 70 and TL 100 A
New Holland built the TL series in the 2000s at the Jesi plant in the Marche region of Italy, a historic site that had already produced tractors under the Fiatagri brand before passing to New Holland within CNH. The TL series positioned itself as a solid mid-range class below the larger T and TS series and was aimed at mixed farms with grassland and arable work as well as municipal use. The type designation gives the approximate rated output in horsepower: the TL 70 develops about 70 hp, the TL 90 about 90 hp, the TL 100 about 100 hp.

The TL series covered the mid-price segment in Europe and competed directly with entry-level models from Deutz-Fahr, Case IH and Massey Ferguson; as an all-purpose tractor for front loader, mowing and transport work it was common on smaller and medium-sized farms.
When buying used, what counts is operating hours, the condition of clutch and gearbox, the tightness of the hydraulics and rust on the wings and cab floor; the four-cylinder diesel engines are considered robust, and spare parts run through New Holland's CNH dealer network, which also covers older TL model years well.
