This page gathers the models of the Japanese maker Morooka that the register could not assign to a range of its own. Morooka builds crawler carriers, tracked haulage vehicles for terrain, forestry and construction, whose load bed sits on tracks rather than wheels. The type designations MK-50 to MK-300 order the eight models by ascending power and size class.

The register lists here 8 versions with 37 to 220 kW (50 to 300 hp), all with diesel engines; on one model Cummins is recorded as the engine supplier.

Crawler carriers such as Morooka's are used where wheeled vehicles reach their limits on soft, difficult or steep terrain, for example in forestry, earthmoving and on construction sites with poor ground conditions. The low ground pressure of the tracked chassis spares sensitive soils compared with similar wheeled vehicles. They are also called on for pipeline and sewer work, mining and disaster-recovery clean-up, wherever paved access is lacking.

Buying used Morooka crawler carriers calls for checking the rubber tracks and rollers, the tightness of the hydraulic cylinders for the tipping bed and chassis, and the condition of the diesel engine after often hard site or forestry use. Track tension and wear on the drive sprockets are equally telling of how hard the machine has worked. Parts run through the manufacturer and specialist construction-machinery dealers.
