The register lists 21 versions with a kerb weight of 2,944 to 10,475 kg and a gross weight of 17,000 to 45,000 kg. Length ranges from 8,190 to 14,970 mm, and width from 2,470 to 3,070 mm.

With widths exceeding the usual road limit of 2,550 mm, many of these low-loaders are aimed at agricultural contractors and large farms that need to move self-propelled harvesters, combines or loaders between yards and fields. The market for such specialist low-loaders in Britain and Ireland has traditionally been shaped by a handful of manufacturers working closely with agricultural machinery brands.

When buying used, check the frame and wheel arches for distortion and cracking caused by overloading, as well as the condition of the brake system and the often duplicated axle assemblies. On extending or lowering decks, test the hydraulics and locking mechanisms; spare parts for axles and brakes are available through the British and Irish trailer trade.
