The four-cylinder diesel engine of 2,723 cm³ displacement is cooled by air and an oil circuit, so it needs no classic water radiator, and produces 71 hp at 2,650 rpm. Gross weight is 2,900 kg and top speed is 40 km/h, giving a power-to-weight figure of roughly 40.8 kg per hp. At 3,990 mm long, a narrow 1,540 mm wide, 2,260 mm high and with a wheelbase of 2,280 mm, the Systra 750 has a noticeably slim build.
At 40 km/h the Systra 750 reaches the upper limit of licence class L; higher speeds would require class T. The combination of air/oil cooling without a water radiator and the narrow 1,540 mm build makes the machine insensitive to frost and suited to narrow tracks, for instance in forestry or vineyard work.
When buying a tractor with this less common cooling arrangement, it is worth checking the oil cooler and the fan wheel particularly carefully for dirt and damage, since disrupted cooling quickly causes engine damage. The gearbox, clutch, tyres and brakes should also be checked, along with the narrow chassis for stress cracks from work in tight tracks, bearing in mind that spare parts for this less widespread cooling system are only available to a limited extent.
